Wildwood BBQ Bash bigger and better than ever

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Wildwood BBQ Bash is in it’s 12th year and over 100 teams will be competing all weekend long! Frank Schmer of the 2016 Wildwood BBQ Bash and Paul Lamer of PM BBQ talked about what to expect at this upcoming event.

A bagpiper from the Go Set Band will be playing mid day Saturday at the Wildwood BBQ Bash. Kenricks Meats Shrimp Boat will be debuting at the Bash. PM BBQ will be hosting the chicken wing eating contest. There will also be so much more!!!

All of the concerts and general admission are free!

Also in attendance will be Steven Raichlen, the author of 15 cookbooks, including the Barbecue Bible, and star of 3 television shows, including his latest – Steven Raichlen’s Project Smoke. Tickets are on-sale for a private event with Steven scheduled for Friday, September 23rd.

No pets are allowed.

Shuttle buses are available from St. Louis Community College – Wildwood Campus (2645 generations drive, wildwood, 63040) during the following hours:

Friday – 5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Saturday – 6:00 a.m. – midnight
Sunday – 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
