ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-The Hilton Frontenac will be hosting the 3rd annual Hooray for Howl-e-woof Fashion Show this Thursday, September 29th, to benefit the CHAMP Assistance Dogs organization. CHAMP is a St. Louis non-profit that aims to provide highly-trained service dogs to individuals living with disability. Though the training of each dog costs roughly 15,000 dollars, CHAMP works to place these service animals absolutely free to individuals. CHAMP ultimate mission is to provide people with the opportunity to live safe and independent lives, regardless of physical or mental impairment.

Hooray for Howl-e-woof will feature a silent auction as well as a dog pageant. All proceeds go back to the CHAMP organization to help continue the training and placement of the service animals.

Executive Director Pam Budke and Dianne Peters stopped by FOX 2 this morning to discuss the event, but not without providing us with a little demonstration from Calgary, one of CHAMP skilled service dogs.
