A big win for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis as the club took home the grand prize of the Let's Play Challenge in association with McDonald's of St. Louis.

The Boys and Girls Club received more than nine hundred pieces of new sports gear including, shoes, soccer balls, jump ropes, t-shirts and spikes, courtesy of the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group's Let's Play Initiative. The club serves more than 6,500 local boys and girls.

The sports gear is valued at more than $15,000 and is designed to encourage youngsters to live an active healthy lifestyle.

On Friday, Boys and Girls Club president Dr. Flint Fowler and McDonald's franchise owner Jimmy Williams visit the 9AM Show to discuss the donation with Kim Hudson, which you can watch above.
