Barret Jackman to retire from NHL

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-The hockey season will start next Wednesday, but the Blues are making some news today. The note will hold a press conference Monday at 2 p.m. and sign Defenseman Barret Jackman, to a one-day-contract so that he can retire with the Blues.

Jackman played 13 seasons for the Blues before playing last year with the Nashville Predators. He was the rookie of the year in the 2002-2003 season.
