ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – On November 6, 500 attendees, 50 volunteers and 100 vendors will gather at the Ritz-Carlton to enjoy samplings from 25 of St. Louis’ top restaurants to raise money for the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation.
Founders of Olive + Oak Mark Hinkle and Sous Chef Mike Risk talk about I Heart Food and Wine and the different exciting things to expect throughout the event.
There will be more than 250 premier wines and 6 local brewers.
Attendees will have a chance to bid on a silent auction and raffle featuring trips, weekend getaways, and high-end electronics.
Tickets are $125 or $175 for VIP. VIP includes a one-hour preview of higher-end, hard-to-find wines, only available to VIPs. Proceeds benefit the Ollie Hinkle Foundation.
The Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation is an organization dedicated to fighting congenital heart defects by raising funds for the most promising research, spreading awareness of the deadly disease, and showing love and support to the children and families impacted by CHDs.
The OHHF was founded in 2013 by Mark and Jenn Hinkle following the death of their one year old son, Ollie.
Ollie was born with a CHD and in his 13 months, he endured 3 heart surgeries, several hospital stays, and countless doctor visits.
Though his time on Earth was short, he’s made a huge impact thanks to his family’s efforts to keep his spirit alive and their desire to make a difference in the CHD community.
