ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and St. Anthony’s Medical Center wants you to Paint the Mall Pink!

St. Anthony`s Medical Center along with South County Center will “Paint The Mall Pink” on Wednesday, October 12th. The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Hospital representatives will be handing out breast cancer prevention information to all mall participants. Healthcare providers will discuss recommendations for a breast cancer prevention and early detection. Participants can ask questions, learn what a breast mass feels like and how to give themselves a proper exam. They’ll also have the opportunity to spin the prize wheel to win a special pink item!

Many of the mall`s retailers will offer special merchandise and promotions with proceeds benefiting breast cancer awareness, research and prevention throughout October.
