ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –During the holidays, the thoughts of children will turn to the toys they want to see under the tree. A new exhibit about to open at the Missouri History Museum will take you back to your childhood and allow you to introduce the next generation to the toys you used to play with.

It’s called “TOYS of the '50s, '60s and '70s” and it opens October 29, 2016. Brands like Gumby, Barbie, Slinky, Mr. Potato Head, Wham-O, and  Hot Wheels will be among the toys that will be on display. Experience the toys from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s and their stories through three imagined living rooms that bring these decades back to life.

Admission to “TOYS of the '50s, '60s and '70s” is free. The exhibit is organized by the Minnesota History Center.
