CAHOKIA, IL (KTVI) – Owners of a Cahokia sweets shop said they’ve been angry and frustrated since their store was burglarized overnight.

Makk's Sweet Shop was not the only business hit in Cahokia. Detectives think the suspects may have also targeted an automotive place in town.

Mark and Angie Nevilles, the owners of Makk's Sweet Shop, have put their heart and soul into the business, selling ice cream and homemade cakes. They agree the young men seen in surveillance video robbing their store need help and mentoring before they continue farther along this road of crime.
