ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A quiet Rock Hill neighborhood woke up to big city crime. Whether it was a prank, or someone angry with the neighborhood, it left residents outraged. Someone slashed the tires on nearly a dozen cars overnight.

All the vehicles were parked in front of homes or in driveways on Charlane Court. Some vehicles had one tire slashed, other residents woke up to find all 4 tires slashed. At at least one home the vandal or vandals hit two cars.

All of the residents have already had their tires replaced. Some residents who had multiple tires slashed had to get a flatbed tow truck.

There are some surveillance cameras in the neighborhood and police are taking a look at the footage.
