Two East St. Louis middle schools enter lockdown after area gunshots

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) – Several schools were on lockdown after reports of gunshots in the area. Wyvetter Younge and Unity Lutheran Middle Schools secured their campuses Monday afternoon. Neighbors tell FOX 2 that police were in the area to investigate. They said nothing happened on school property.
