ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) –  It is Pet Health Month and Dr. Kelly Ryan from Animal Medical Center of Mid-America joined Kim Hudson to talk about ways you can keep your pet healthy!

Make sure your pet is up to date on their vaccinations and be aware if your dog is fluctuating in weight or if they have strange bumps you didn’t notice before.

If something seems odd, get your furry friends checked out to rule out something more serious. Drinking more water or urinating more frequently can be a sign of diabetes in your dog.

Make sure you get your dog checked annually at the minimum.
