ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- "Making music that's honest and timeless."

The Reasn joined us for a special performance on FOX 2 News in the Morning. The singer-songwriter fuses a classy and edgy twist to give audiences a familiar sound from the past merged into something we haven't heard!

According to his website, he's bringing back Rock n' Roll into black music and adding today's urban culture to it.

Originally from Columbia, Missouri, the urban rock artist honed his musical skills in St. Louis. His musical influences include Prince, Marvin Gaye, The Beattles, Michael Jackson and more! He says these artists are not afraid to take risks and cross boundaries and musical genres.

FOX 2's John Pertzborn compared him to Prince and Lenny Kravitz. He's a fan!

In an interview with REVOLT, The Reasn says he struggled with a learning disability in school. At that time, he found music to be the main driver of his confidence and success.

He currently has two videos on BET and starting next month they'll be seen on MTV as well. The videos, "Blue Flame" and "American Dream" are also playing on Sean Combs' (P. Diddy) network, REVOLT.

If you want music that's powered by self-discovery, life, love, struggles and hope, check him out!
