ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - It is back to work and school today for most of us, and the weather will be rather unsettled. A strong weather system to our north has generated a good wind field since last night leading to gusty south/southeast winds. Those winds will continue to rattle the area for most of today.

Moisture is surging into the region and will result in widespread showers and non-severe thunderstorms through the day. Rainfall will be heavy in a few spots, but nothing more than briefly localized street flooding is expected; mainly due to leaf blockage.
