Tarasenko’s Hat Trick Leads Blues to 5-4 Win over Tampa

Vladimir Tarasenko notched his third career hat trick and it led the St. Louis Blues to a 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night at Scottrade Center. Tarasenko scored the first two goals of the game in the first period. He completed the Hat Trick with a third period goal giving the Blues a 5-3 lead at the time. Kevin Shattenkirk scored the other two goals for the Blues. They built a 4-1 lead in the second period, only to see the Lightning score twice to make a game of it at 4-3. The win gives the Blues an 11-1-2 record at home.
