ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Ready, set, wrap! After all the shopping comes the gift wrapping. If you’re sometimes sore after you’ve wrapped those packages, theres a reason for it. Dr. Alex Vidan from Vidan Family Chiropractic says you’re doing it wrong.

The posture you have while wrapping presents can put a great deal of stress on the neck and low back. Bending forward with your legs stretched out in front of you or crossed restricts blood flow. Sitting on a hard surface (such as a floor) also reduces blood flow. Try standing at a table or countertop for one package, sitting on a bed for another, sitting in a comfortable chair for another, to reduce stress on your body.
