Missing Missouri 7-year-old found in Texas

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A 7-year-old from Missouri, missing since December 2nd, has been found in Texas. An Endangered Person Advisory was issued for Seth Davis. He was last seen during a custody exchange at a Wal-Mart in Chillicothie.

Seth Davis was found safe Thursday morning in Brownsville, TX. He is now in the custody of Brownsville missing persons unit to be reunited with his mother.

Police say that his father, Anthony Davis, 32, was supposed to return the child on December 4th and never showed up. His cell phone was pinged in the Washington Missouri area on December 6th and 7th. The truck they were traveling in was found Tuesday in Washington, MO.

Seth and Anthony Davis were found in Brownsville at around 10:30am. The 7-year-old appeared to be in good condition. Anthony Davis was taken into custody by the Brownsville Police.

Police have not said how they found the father and son.  They do say that several agencies were involved in the investigation including the Gallatin Police Department, Chillicothe Police Department, Franklin County Task force, The Multi County Narcotics and Violent Crimes Unit, Washington Police Department, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, NITRO Task Force, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Brownsville Texas Police Department and several other agencies
