Suspect charged with shooting Cards fan outside Busch delays plea
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The suspect charged with shooting a man leaving a Cardinals game will have until Friday to decide whether to admit to the crime.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Kilwa Jones was set to plead guilty Wednesday to state charges of shooting Christopher Sanna and robbing his girlfriend. His lawyer said that Jones didn’t want to do it without his family in court.
Jones was already sentenced to 35 years on federal charges involving the crime.
