LINCOLN COUNTY, MO (KTVI)-A fire in north of Wright City, MO, had firefighters battling the flames and the elements. Around 10:20pm Saturday, the Wright City Fire Department, Warrenton Fire Protection District, Lincoln County Fire Protection District, as well as Lincoln County Ambulance District were dispatched to a structure fire in the 100 block of Cory Michael Drive in Lincoln County.

Icy road conditions made things tough, but crews made it to the scene, finding a house fully involved in fire. Thankfully, no one was inside the home. Crews worked for nearly four hours to extinguish the fire in bitter cold temperatures.

No one was injured. The house was a total loss. According to the Wright City Fire Department, the American Red Cross and the Wright City Church of the Nazarene are helping out the family.
