Dave Murray’s latest weather Disco for FRIDAY…February 24, 2017
My Spring forecast is on the way…Thursday…February 23rd…as part of Fox 2 news at 9…and an encore presentation at 5pm on Fox 2 news at 5…a look at March, April and May in STL.
Weather patterns working on a shift over the next few days…still mild to warm Friday…maybe some spot storms on Friday as a cold front rolls by…best shot to our east into IL…eastern edges of the viewing area…they will not last long…Here comes a cold front and here comes the winter shock along with strong and gusty winds…first ahead of the front on Friday and then behind the front Friday night(flurries late) and Saturday…down to 32 degrees Friday night and just plain cold on Saturday…mostly cloudy skies, very windy and 39 for the high…but feels colder all day long. Sunday…damp and chilly with clouds and a few showers in the afternoon…maybe a wet snowflake around Sunday night…no big deal. Then we get on the temperature flip-flop train for much of next week.
looking for snow the next 24 hours…an impressive storm comes over the central and southern Rockies and cuts over the northern plains and the upper mid-west…some snow as close as extreme northwest Missouri and all of Iowa….rain in Chicago.
