ST. LOUIS — Another reminder to not leave valuables, especially guns in a parked car, especially in downtown St. Louis.

Police say that three vehicles, two of which were U-Hauls, were broken into while parked in the 2000 block of 4th street.  Investigators confirm that two guns were stolen from the vehicles.

A North Carolina couple had guns, and electronics stolen from their towed Lotus sports car after they parked it in downtown St. Louis Sunday night. They went out to eat, checked into a hotel and noticed the theft this morning as they were getting ready to hit the road.

Police say they are still investigating the thefts.
