ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A vehicle crashed into multiple cars, including two Woodson Terrace police vehicles, Thursday evening, forcing the closure of Natural Bridge Road for two hours.

"It was a police chase and it ended up here and he was going really fast, over 100 [MPH]," said one witness. "There were people walking the car just slid and it caused the other cars to turn and hit the ditch" she said.

It happened just before 7:00 p.m. Thursday on Natural Bridge Road near Woodson Road just across from St. Louis-Lambert International Airport. Police haven't said what led to the crash, but a source told Fox 2/KPLR 11 that alcohol may have been a factor. A witness saw at lease one man detained by police and taken away.

"He was resisting and not even showing sympathy for what he just caused," said one witness. "But hopefully everyone is okay."

Police have not said how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called in to assist in the investigation.
