NBA star Larry Hughes presents ‘Hoop It Up’

ST. LOUIS, Mo. _Local NBA star Larry Hughes is bringing 3-on-3 basketball back to St. Louis. Hughes has partnered up with CBS Radio- St. Louis KMOX, Y98, to deliver 'Hoop It Up.' The tournament tips off Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on the parking lot of St. Louis Union Station Hotel in downtown St. Louis.

Admission is free for spectators to attend the 3-on-3 basketball tournament Hughes played in prior to his collegiate and 13 year career in the NBA. Games will be played all day long made up of more than 100 registered teams of all ages and abilities. Food trucks will also be on hand for spectators. Hughes also founded and runs the Larry Hughes Basketball Academy, a year-round premier academy in the St. Louis area that provides team play, skill development, basketball education, and leadership opportunities for young athletes, girls and boys, grades K-12. Kids can can try out the Larry Hughes Basketball Academy with instruction from Larry Hughes for free Saturday in the Union Station parking lot from 9 a.m. to noon.
