Soak your apples in baking soda and water

ST. LOUIS, Mo. _Do you know how to properly wash an apple? It appears we've been washing apples the wrong way.

Researchers say the best method for getting pesticides off an apple is to use a solution of baking soda and water. After soaking in it for 12 minutes, a majority of the chemicals were gone from the apple.
