ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Another of the major area Christmas light displays opened for the season Friday, as Jellystone Park in Eureka has been transformed into Santa’s Magical Kingdom.

This display is considered by many to be one of the best in region, because of both the number and density of the lights. More than four million twinkling lights are mixed through countless holiday displays that stretch over the roughly mile-long stretch of trail. You can drive the trail in your own car or park and take the wagon ride.

New this year is Friendly Aliens land (only viewable from your car due to the steep incline). This new ½ mile stretch is loaded with new displays and spectacular laser and led lights.

The display is open nightly through January 7, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., that includes Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Admission is by the carload.

Jellystone Park is next to Six Flags in Eureka. Just take I-44 to exit #261 and follow the lights – you can see them for miles!
