ST. LOUIS, MO — No teachers will be armed at the Clayton School District.  The ruling comes after members at a recent Board of Education meeting unanimously opposed it.

Instead, the board is taking a different tactic by supporting background checks for assault weapons, banning gun sales to domestic violence offenders, and increasing funding to support student mental health programs.
