Abandoned restaurant catches fire in East St. Louis

EAST ST. LOUIS, ILL. -   Officials say a fire started about midnight Sunday in a former restaurant on St. Louis Avenue near North Sixth Street.

Firefighters say lightning is a likely cause of the fire. There was no electricity to the vacant building at the time of the fire.

No one was injured.
