ST. LOUIS - St. Louis City Board of Alderman President Lewis Reed plans to meet with Missouri Governor Mike Parson Thursday afternoon.

Reed says they'll discuss how to battle crime in the city. Reed also plans to talk about implementing the Cease-Fire Crime Prevention Program he introduced earlier this week.

The program calls for reaching out to gang-leaders and criminals to offer them a chance to re-integrate into society.
