Three killed in one neighborhood over 5 hours

ST. LOUIS – It was a violent Monday afternoon into Monday night in the City of St. Louis as multiple shootings claimed the lives of three people.

At this point, police don't think any of the three killings are connected.

The shootings all happened in about a five-hour time span from late Monday afternoon into the evening in north St. Louis. Police said suspects were taken into custody in connection with two of the three murders.

Police got the call for the latest murder at 10:15 p.m. That shooting happened on Blackstone at Page. The 30-year-old victim was not shot, despite initial reports he'd been injured.

Police said a suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jordan Bradshaw, was taken into custody. However, police also said Bradshaw was dead.

Earlier in the evening, police rushed to another shooting scene on Belt not far from Ridge around 6:45 p.m. Authorities found 25-year-old Robert Lee suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Lee was pronounced dead at that scene.

Homicide detectives said they're still searching for suspects in that case.

Before that shooting unfolded, police got another call at Martin Luther King Dr. and Hodiamont about 5:15 p.m. When officers got there, they discovered 36-year-old Antonio Neely suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a 30-year-old man was later taken into custody.

All three of these killings happened either in or right on the border of the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. These latest murders bring the total number of homicides so far this year in the City of St. Louis to 147.
