ST. LOUIS — Extreme poverty, crime and trauma can have a profound impact on a child's development. For many years, some areas in north St. Louis were underserved in prenatal classes, parenting courses and individual family counseling. Lutheran Family Children's Services of Missouri is helping to change that.
