Cardinals minor leaguer hit with 50-game suspension

ST. LOUIS – Pitcher Griffin Roberts was suspended 50 games Friday for violating the MiLB’s drug prevention and treatment program.

Roberts plays for the St. Louis Cardinals’ Single-A affiliate in Palm Beach, Florida.

This is his second drug violation.
