Gas pipeline erupts into fireball in central Missouri

MEXICO, MO – A gas line ruptured early Sunday morning in central Missouri.  The incident happened in Audrain County.

State troopers say the pipeline belongs to Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company.

Part of Highway 15, about one mile north of the City of Mexico will be closed until crews can fix the pipe.

No injuries have been reported.
