Small earthquake shakes southeast Missouri early Wednesday

BONNE TERRE, Mo. - An earthquake measuring 2.6 shook in St. Francois County, Missouri overnight. According to USGS officials, it hit around 2:09 a.m.

The quake was nearest to Bonne Terre and Valles Mines. There have been no reports of damage.
