ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Those fighting prostate cancer can find support and encouragement at a walk hosted by the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis.
The 13th Annual Prostate Cancer Survivors and Awareness Run/Walk will step off for Saturday morning from Harris-Stowe State University in Midtown. Briant K. Mitchell of BKM Fitness will lead a warm before the 2-mile trek through the city. The Empowerment Network, which provides support for survivors and their families in North St. Louis City, will also lead the walk
There will be food, activities and free blood tests to detect prostate-cancer risk at the event.
