ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-The St. Louis Theater Circle has announced nominees for its 2015 awards  which honor outstanding work in St. Louis professional theater in 2014. The organization is made up of critics who cover theater in St. Louis media: in print, online and on the air.  The 2015 Circle Awards will be presented at 7 p.m. March 23 at COCA. The ceremony is open to the public.

Also, the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis has announced their 2015-2016 season. “All the Way,” a drama about Lyndon B. Johnson’s efforts to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964, will open the 2015-16 season. Written by Robert Schenkken, “All the Way” won the 2014 Tony Award for best play. Another highlight will be “Satchel Paige and the Kansas City Swing” by Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan, the team that wrote the Rep’s 2013 hit about the Tuskegee Airmen, “Fly.”
