ST. LOUIS (KTVI)- It’s almost summer blockbuster season. At least that will be the hope of major movie studios who will release their big movies over the warm weather months. If you plan to check them out, you’ll notice a theme: sequels and remakes.

This summer we’ll see the big budget sequels, like "Captain America", “Star Trek Beyond,” and "Jason Bourne." Movie remakes will include comedy favorite "Ghostbusters" and the classics "Ben-Hur" and “The Magnificent Seven.”

St. Louis Post-Dispatch film critic Calvin Wilson is out with his Summer Movie Preview. He’s has a preview of what we can expect.
