ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Catherine Cares, an organization that seeks to lift up families of children receiving devastating diagnoses, recently launched a new service.  Build-A-Bear Heartbeat Bears will soon available at hospital partners of Catherine Cares.

Co-Founders Wayne and Lauren Turley know how special it is to hear the heartbeat of a lost loved one as they lost their precious baby girl Catherine in 2014.

When a baby is given a life-threatening prenatal diagnosis, the family receives the sound of their baby`s heartbeat recorded within a Catherine Cares Heartbeat Bear.  Siblings and families can have that connection with their lost brother or sister to treasure forever.

The cost of a Heartbeat bear is $15.  For every bear purchased, you’re also giving a bear to a family in need.
