(KTVI) – Everyone wants their neighborhood to be safe and crime free.  Recently in the Central West End, there have been some high profile crimes like the murder of SLU student Megan Boken, a recent bank robbery and drug activity.   Those events have prompted residents there to act.

Carolyn Compton is an advocate with Central West End  Neighborhood Security Initiative hopes of reducing crime there.
