Classes resume as normal after firefighters respond to Bierbaum Elementary

ST. LOUIS – Fire crews responded to a Mehlville School early Tuesday morning after a fire alarm went off.

A fire started in the furnace at Bierbaum Elementary just before 1:00 a.m. Fortunately, there was no damage and crews worked to air out the building overnight.

No classes are canceled and students can arrive as scheduled.
