ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- People across the country are starting the new year injured courtesy of one of the holiday season’s hottest gifts. Doctors have been swamped with people suffering from injuries after falling off hoverboards.
The small wheels on hoverboards tend not to work well on uneven surfaces.
Injuries to ankles, knees, arms, and head are common. Doctors say wrist, elbow, and knee pads, along with a helmet are a must for hoverboard users.
