ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI)- Valentine's Day is this Sunday, Feb. 14. Not everyone has a date for the holiday, and many people are using online dating to find a significant other. Not all online dating sites are reputable though, and there are things to watch out for.

Chris Thetford of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) has some tips and tricks to using online dating sites.

The BBB advises consumers to be aware of the limitations, costs and terms and conditions of these online services as well as the potential for fraud if your match turns out to be a thief.

"While some consumers have found happiness using a dating service, others have been disappointed in the quality of matches or the number of suitable people they were able to meet using the service," said Michelle Corey, president and CEO of the BBB.
