New daytime device eases symptoms of sleep apnea

ST. LOUIS – Sleep apnea can be a serious health issue, but how do you know if you have it?

Dr. Joseph Ojile from the Clayton Sleep Institute explained the symptoms of sleep apnea and what can be done to help with those symptoms out on the Lakeside Renovation and Design Weather Deck.

Ojile said sleep apnea can appear in older people as they get older because peoples’ throat tissues get a little bit looser.

Ojile then explained a tongue workout people can do that can help.
