MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI) – The Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Medical Center of Mid-America is offering discounted microchipping for $25 on Monday, May 4, from 6-10 a.m. at our FOX 2 studios. Microchipping is a painless and quick procedure that provides an extra level of protection in case your pet gets lost.

HSMO will also be administering the canine flu vaccine for a discounted price. Canine flu is a serious illness that is highly contagious between dogs. There have been no reported cases in St. Louis, but it has been a problem in Chicago. The first vaccine is $25, and owners can bring their dog back to our locations for the booster (additional $25) two weeks later.

The FOX 2 studios are located in Maryland Heights just off Page at 2250 Ball Dr.

Can’t make it Monday? They’ll also be offering discounted microchipping at the upcoming Bark in the Park, the annual dog walk, 5K, and festival in Forest Park. Bark in the Park will be held Saturday, May 16 at Cricket Field. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Missouri Animal Cruelty Fund . Register at
