ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – During the Election of 1872 Living History Weekend, there will be numerous costumed interpreters and special activities throughout the day!

Julie Northrip and Bob Pollock, from the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, came in today to share more about the Election of 1872 Living History Weekend. Guests will be able to cast their own ballot and decide between Grant and Greeley.

There will be historic photography demonstrations and music of the era.

It will take place at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site September 9th through 11th. Times may vary.

All events are free and no reservations are required.
