(KTVI)- St. Louis based Hardee’s is offering something new. Since mid-October, the fast food restaurant has been offering new fresh baked buns on all their premium burgers. The buns, which are baked at each restaurant each day, are standard with most Thickburgers and available for substitution on any other sandwich for an additional charge.
The new burger buns are denser and slightly sweeter than the current buns. The dough arrives to the restaurants frozen, but is allowed to proof and baked in house.
Hardee’s has promoted that they bake the biscuits for their breakfast sandwiches from scratch for years.
