(KTVI) – Do you have extra home medical equipment cluttering your house? Well that equipment could go to good use.
Tim Ezell talked to Jim Fawl and Mark Harder of St. Louis HELP about how you can donate your used equipment to a good cause.
St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program, also known as St. Louis HELP, collects new and used home medical equipment.
The equipment is then cleaned, refurbished, and loaned to anyone that needs it at no cost.
St. Louis HELP distributes more than $1.4 million worth of equipment each year.
Some of the most needed home medical equipment include manual wheelchairs, shower chairs, tub transfer benches and seated walkers.
St. Louis HELP will be having a drive where people can donate their used home medical equipment.
