(KTVI) – Sammie Bezzole is the Kids Kamp Challenge Program Director. She stopped by to help Tim with a High Five workout.  You can keep your kids active with these simple moves.

BFF High Five Workout

Warm up: Play High Five Tag Game with your friends: Have one person be the tagger. When a person is tagged they must freeze and wait for some one to give them a high five to untag them. Switch the taggers and play for 8-10 minutes.

Exercises:  The whole group of friends performs the following  exercises 1-3 and do 2 times through. Each exercise is in 20 repetitions.

20 Sit-Ups with a high five at the top of sit ups

20 Back Extensions facing each other and doing a high five to opposite hands

20 push up facing your partner and doing high five to opposite hands

When finished perform the relays below and make sure when you are headed back you must high five the next person in their line. All lines perform relays 1-3 2 times

Jog down Jog back

Skip down skip back

lateral shuffle down and back

Cool Down/Stretch: cool down and stretch for 5-10 minutes.
