ST. LOUIS – Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday at 2 a.m., so we will gain an hour of sleep. That’s a good thing, but it’s still a sudden shift in our daily rhythms.

Cambridge brain sciences said it also appears to cause brain damage.

Washington University sleep researcher Dr. Samira Parhizkar explained her research and how caregivers can help Alzheimer’s patients through the time change.
