(KTVI) - Fans going down to the game on Monday night will be eager to commemorate 2013's run with souvenirs, but they need to be cautious the merchandise they purchase is legitimate.

Ethan Orlinsky, of Major League Baseball, talked to Fox 2's Randi Naughton about counterfeiting and how big of a problem it is.

Orlinsky gave some tips to help ensure the memorabilia you buy is authentic.

In the last twenty years, MLB, together with the Collegiate Licensing Company, NBA, NFL, and NHL has participated in the seizure of more than 10 million pieces of counterfeit merchandise, valued at more than $369 million.
