ST. LOUIS, MO — The Humane Society of the United States and its affiliates are the nation's largest provider of hands-on services for animals.  They care for more than 150,000 animals each year.

For the past three years, the Humane Society has worked in South Korea to close down some of the thousands of dog meat farms there. The work has resulted in 1,300 dogs being rescued.
