(KTVI)- The Animal House Cat Rescue has ways you can keep stray and feral cats safe in the winter until help comes. This winter, you may notice a cat living outside. It may be too cold outdoors for anyone to stay. But, immediately bringing them inside is not always an option.

There is still something you can do to protect them from the harsh cold until animal control can arrive. Staff at Animal House show how to put together simple, cheap, safe, warm and dry temporary shelters for feral and stray cats.

Animal House also cares for cats and kittens until they can be adopted. The staff is selling calendars to help pay for medical and adoption services.
